The hospital is a complete medical and surgical facility. A wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities is offered on site.
Preventive Health Care

Birds and other exotic pets often hide signs of illness until they become life threatening. Routine examinations in conjunction with laboratory testing can detect certain infectious and metabolic diseases in the early stages before they become serious illnesses. Annual examination and preventative health packages are available for birds, ferrets, rabbits and iguanas.

Hospitalization Wards

The hospital is equipped with a separate isolation ward for infectious cases and a “hot ward” with controlled heat and humidity for sick birds and reptiles. Standard hospital cages and incubators are available for small animals.

Veterinary Consultation

Progress reports on patients treated at home are encouraged. These reports are entered into the patient record and the doctor is advised. The doctor will return calls as needed to discuss any treatment changes or answer questions that may arise.

The doctors are available for consultation and progress of hospitalized pets. A visitation and consultation room is provided at the hospital with the comfort of the client and patient in mind. Visitation appointments can be arranged during regular office
hours.

The Doctors also consult with outside board certified veterinarians in all fields of veterinary medicine.
