At Midwest Bird and Exotic, we seek to provide excellent care for our patients. We are excited to have you join us! Applications are numerous and competitive. 

• All applicants must be enrolled in an accredited school for Veterinary medicine (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine only)

• We require a minimum of 2 weeks and will accept a maximum of 1 month slot

• You must be a student currently in their fourth year (or equivalent) clinical period 

• Your institution must be within the United States of America

• We also offer the opportunity to use your externship as a working interview to connect you with us, or any other NVA location across the United States 

• Please ensure your application is complete before submitting it through our portal as any incomplete application will be discarded

• Please attach your resume 

• No recommendation letters are required but helpful
