Dr. Andrea Biancalana
Dr. Andrea Biancalana was raised in Elmwood Park, Illinois. She attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, completing majors in both Biology and Spanish as well as serving as the Vice President of the Pre-Veterinary Society. Dr. Biancalana earned her doctorate in veterinary medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During veterinary school, she volunteered at the Dane County Wildlife Center, conducted breast cancer research, and completed externships at the Milwaukee County Zoo, Belize Zoo, and Brookfield Zoo Chicago. Her favorite exotic animals to work with are turtles.
In her free time, Dr. Biancalana enjoys playing volleyball, going to concerts, trying new recipes, traveling, and taking care of her two cats, Fred and George.
