Welcome to Midwest Bird & Exotic Animal Hospital

Midwest Bird & Exotic Animal Hospital was established in 1985 as the first of its kind in the U.S., treating avian and exotic animals exclusively. Exotic pets have very individualized needs and our doctors and staff are specially trained to attend to these unique patients.
Our focus is on providing competent and compassionate medical and surgical care while at the same time educating the pet owner on the best way to care for their companions at home. We are also proud to serve as a referral hospital for many local and out of state veterinarians and see patients from all over Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana and Iowa.

Saturday: 8am - 2pm

Hours by appointment but we will see patients on an emergency basis during regular daytime hours as needed. Please call if you would like to set up an appointment or you think your pet is having an emergency.
